Colon Clenz Review

Colon Clenz® is a blend of herbs produced by Bodygold. It is an herbal colon cleanser. Colon Clenz contains valerian, which can work as a muscle relaxant and sleep aid. A few of the ingredients in colon clenz appear to prevent the colon from absorbing water. Other ingredients may soothe the colon. The sundry ingredients combine to give Colon Clenz its effect, although that effect has not been clinically studied based on a review of published research

Inhibiting Water absorption
Cascara sagrada, senna, chinese rhubarb, and aloe vera all appear to work by interfering with the absorption of water in the colon. When the colon cannot absorb water from stool, the stool remains watery and it flushes out the colon. The water also adds to the volume inside the colon which induces the colon to push out waste. Some of these herbs may also cause the elimination of waste through additional mechanisms.

Cascara sagrada grows as a bush or a small tree. It is native to the western sections of Canada and the USA. Senna can be a shrub or an herbaceous perennial. It is found in Asia, Africa, and the Americas in tropical and subtropical climates. Chinese rhubarb is a large herbaceous perennial. Although Chinese rhubarb is farmed worldwide, Russia and China are the major producers of Chinese rhubarb. This herb originated in the western and northwestern parts of China. Aloe is a short succulent plant that is native to Sudan and the Arabian Peninsula. Today, it grows in the USA, Mexico, the Dutch Antilles, Venezuela, Asia, the Middle East, and around the Mediterranean.

Soothing the Colon
Yellow dock, slippery elm, black walnut, and Oregon grape generally soothe the digestive tract. Yellow dock was originally confined to Europe and Africa, but it now grows in the wilderness of many other regions. It grows about a meter tall. The slippery elm tree is native to North America. The black walnut tree grows in USA forests. The eastern edge of its range extends from New Jersey to the Florida panhandle, while the western edge of its range extends from Texas to the southern counties of Minnesota. Oregon grape is a perennial evergreen that lives on the bottom of forests. It inhabits woodlands on the slopes of the Cascade mountains and the Rocky mountains. Oregon grape can be found as far north and British Columbia and Alberta. The southern part of its range includes New Mexico.
